The 2012 Broadley Speaking Sales Awards

the stage at the annual sales awards

Now in its 10th year our annual awards have become an institution and are highly prized and even more highly fought for.

This years awards were held at The Bedford Hotel in Tavistock on Friday 14th December.

The awards evening was conceived in order to recognise outstanding sales achievement and effort across the year. We do tough work, opening up new business opportunities on behalf of our clients. It’s great to get brilliant feedback from clients (and you can see another dose of this from Chris Coxon at Eurocell in their case study) but it’s also brilliant to be recognised by your boss and peers.

Kerri Martin sales award winnerAccount Manager of the Year – Kerri Martin

Kerri has had some sales experience before she joined us at Broadley Speaking but has truly excelled this year. She has go to grips with complex and challenging campaigns like Wordbank, iPass and Evision and has delivered consistently across them all, She is probably the quietest person in the office, however her quiet approach is punctuated by expressions of delight as another prospect is diarised for an appointment.

Amy Andrews sales award winnerOutstanding Progress – Amy Andrews

Amy had no sales experience before joining us this has made her performance this year all the more outstanding. With a degree in Sculpture and a Diploma in Costume from RADA. She had spent 10 years working in Costume departments for Theatre and Television working long days with big stars in major films and TV series. She has worked with most of the major performance artists ensuring that style and detail of their costumes matches that of their performance. She bring this passion, and eye for detail to her sales work and is playing a major part in delivering on campaigns in the UK and North America. To quote The Bard, “Though she be but little, she is fierce!”

Players’ Player – Kerri Martin

This says it all about Kerri! This award is voted for by every member of the team in a secret ballot. Amongst some very seasoned sales professionals Kerri’s quiet determination, style and results are clearly an inspiration to all.

Sales team of the YearTeam of the Year – Sandy Ralph and Julie Credicott

The “odd couple”, Sandy and Julie sit opposite each other and have developed a compelling approach with their two contrasting sales styles. On two campaigns, Silcotec Europe and AGSL they have successfully infiltrated some of Europe’s very largest corporations. They have tracked down decision makers at the highest level and engaged them in the most compelling sales discussions. They work at a level that most reasonable people would not expect from an outsourced resource.

Pat Bryant Sales award winnerCommitment to the Cause – Pat Bryant

Pat has been with Broadley Speaking over a decade. She leads one of our key accounts for Eurocell. As someone pointed out although Pat has won many team awards, she has never won an individual one and it’s long overdue – so here it is!
