Head of Office Operations

The ideal candidate

We are looking for someone who is proactive, has strong leadership qualities, knows how to listen, respond, and problem-solve with solid solutions. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to engage and manage relationships with all of our business partners whether they be our FTSE 100 clients or our local suppliers.

Qualities should include being a dependable employee who can work independently and tackle everything from managing all travel arrangements for the team to proof reading, content writing and strong organisational skills and great attention to detail.

Hours
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm (37.5 hours per week)

What we are looking for:

  • Office procurement as required
  • Management of third-party suppliers
  • EA to directors
  • Managing diaries of directors
  • Client communication
  • Organising company logistics e.g. Foreign travel
  • Organising office events and training
  • Managing team holiday, sickness and return to work interviews
  • Initial point of telephone contact and reception duties
  • Chair and minute internal meetings
  • Return to work interviews 
  • Manage personnel records
  • Update content on website and send E-Shots
  • Ability to use all Microsoft packages e.g. exec level reports
  • CRM knowledge desirable
  • Office layout and seating
