Telesales and telemarketing - what's the difference?
In our own vocabulary we take telesales as the process by which we take the sale to the order taking stage on the telephone.
Telemarketing is the term we use to describe the sales process we undertake that culminates before the order taking stage , for example, to a fully qualified appointment for our clients. This does not mean there is less "selling" in the telemarketing process than in the telesales model. When we are telemarketing we are locating, contacting and selling to senior people the benefits to them of embarking on a process of buying relatively complex products and services that represent a large investment for their organisation.
At the heart of Broadley Speaking’s offering is our ‘Intelligent Sales™’ approach to telesales. We work for a variety of market leading clients. Our telesales and telemarketing services include advertising sales across printed media and online. We cross-sell and up-sell on behalf of our clients, developing the relationships in their brand portfolio and their value. We have experience of selling space at events, seminar attendance and filling places on training courses.
WHAT IS INTELLIGENT SALES?
The majority of the work we do is via the telephone but it is important to understand we are not a ‘call centre’. Our teams consist of professional, specially trained sales personnel and we never use scripted calls or predictive dialling systems. We provide bespoke telesales solutions and specialise in selling high value, or complex products and services to senior business people.
Our unique approach and expertise means we can pitch to each potential customer as an individual, applying your product or service benefits to their particular needs, creating successful, high value sales.
