Broadley Speaking, headquartered in Tavistock, Devon has seen huge growth since its launch 11 years ago. At the beginning of last year we also opened an office in Stamford, Lincolnshire.  

The company founder, Hilary Broadley said:

"The vast majority of the work we do is via the telephone but it is important to understand we are not a 'call centre'. Our teams consist of professional , well trained sales people and our general remit is that we sell relatively complex products and services to senior business people.

Most of the companies who offer traditional 'telemarketing' work on economies of scale which mean big is beautiful - so you can regularly find call centres staffed with 100's of staff , using predictive dialling systems ,and  reading scripts.

This is a complete anathema to us; we believe small is beautiful and that huge operations have a depreciating effect on the things that are really important to us like our culture and ethos."
